Hi, I'm Lindsay. I have been a substitute paraprofessional and teacher for several years until I entered this program to become a teacher. I have a BA in English. After graduation, I tried to find a career in PR or journalism but unfortunately the job market worked against me. However, I view this as a positive because otherwise I wouldn't have considered combining my love of working with young people and English literature into a teaching career. I am a huge anglophile and I traveled to London in January 2009. It was amazing and I really hope to go back soon. In addition to traveling, I enjoy reading, watching movies (especially costume dramas and romantic comedies), and spending time with my friends.
